I've never actually seen a monster, witch or ghost despite having checked under many beds and behind many doors but if I ever do find one, the first thing I'll do is tell it a joke — since that seems to make my family disappear.

I started writing silly poems and jokes while sitting on the train travelling from my house to Toronto every day for work. There were a couple of times when I got some strange looks from the people sitting around me because I accidentally laughed out loud.
